Good news.
If you’re thrilled with how things are going so far this year, you can safely ignore this.
Bookmark it. Or don’t. You’re doing great.
But if you came into the year thinking, “This has to be better than last year,” then let’s talk.
Because if the goal is to get the exact same results this year, here’s a very reliable plan.
First, don’t check your CRM every day.
Open it only when something feels wrong. Preferably with a vague sense of dread. Extra points if you mutter, “I really need to clean this up.”
Second, avoid adding leads consistently.
Definitely don’t aim for something boring and measurable like 25 new leads a week. That creates expectations. Patterns. Accountability.
Much better to rely on referrals, luck, or that one good month you had last year.
Third, skip regular conversations.
Five conversations a week sounds small, but that’s exactly why it works—so avoid it. Stay busy instead. Busy feels productive. Conversations feel optional.
Fourth, don’t think in terms of funnels.
Top of funnel. Middle. Bottom. Sounds very “organized.”
Instead, chase whoever is loudest today and forget about the people who said, “Circle back in a few months.”
And whatever you do, don’t revisit stalled deals.
If someone goes quiet, assume they’ve vanished into another dimension.
No follow-up. No pattern recognition. No learning.
If you stick to all of that, you’ll likely arrive at the end of the year thinking,
“Wow. How did this happen again?”
Here’s the uncomfortable truth.
Most MSP owners aren’t failing because they don’t work hard.
They’re failing because growth is happening by accident.
They’re excellent at delivery.
They care deeply about their clients.
They show up every day.
What’s missing isn’t effort—it’s structure.
The MSPs who feel calm about their future don’t rely on motivation or luck. They rely on simple, repeatable habits:
They know how many new leads enter their world every week
They have ongoing conversations, not last-minute sales scrambles
They treat their pipeline like an operating system, not a guessing game
Small inputs.
Consistent cadence.
Massive difference over time.
So if this year already feels a little too familiar…
If revenue still feels unpredictable…
If you don’t want another year of “we should really fix this”…
You don’t need a dramatic reset.
You need a clearer system—and someone to help you run it consistently.
That’s why MSP Saber exists.
Owner-led. Practical. No agency nonsense. Just a better way to build momentum on purpose.
Here’s to fewer guesses—and better results—this year.
